You make some great points about P&G. They are absolutely not going anywhere for decades. I also agree about their individual brand names, and I'm willing to bet most people aren't even aware Tide and Crest are made by P&G.
However, they've slowly been losing market share in several categories, and they are having to lean on some of their billion-dollar brands a bit more. I've seen surveys that show younger generations aren't as enamored of "quality brands," and are more likely to buy store brands. Cost, of course, is also a big factor.
But you're right, they aren't going anywhere. Thanks for the comments.
