Some brands from our youth have aged gracefully. Brands that have survived over 100 years are Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, Wrigley’s, Levi’s, Colgate, Carhartt, Crayola, Harley-Davidson, and Hellmans/Best Foods.

Yet there are several older brands and products that are barely hanging on, and quite frankly, it might be time for them to ride off into the sunset.

Here are seven products and brands I’m surprised anyone is still buying.

Chock Full O’Nuts coffee. Have you tasted this stuff? How do they get away with calling it coffee? The taste of motor oil is better than this. They’re even still selling it in steel cans. How long can they hold out? Seniors are the only ones left drinking this mud. Other notable coffees in this category include MJB and Hills Brothers.

Old Spice. They’re trying to update their marketing to bring in younger consumers, but have you ever smelled it? Let me put it in the form of an offensive Dad joke a nephew told me: Want to turn on the ladies at the senior center? Then, splash on some Old Spice!

One of the reasons to buy it is the price, but you get what you pay for. I’m not saying you need expensive cologne, just something that doesn’t smell…
